Thomas Savage served for 36 years with FDA in various roles. He began his agency career as a chemist in the FDA Los Angeles District Laboratory, retiring in 2010 as a senior policy advisor in the International Compliance Branch at CDER. After leaving the agency, he went on to serve as director of scientific and regulatory compliance for NSF International’s Reference Standards Program.
