Rafael Olivares is an accomplished food safety, regulatory, and quality assurance professional with more than twenty years of experience in the food industry. Olivares is considered a Regulatory and HACCP subject matter expert due to extensive experience in the interpretation of food laws and regulations and implementation, training, revision, and consulting in different types of operations. He has a high level of expertise and experience regarding GFSI standards, including SQF, BRCGS, Global GAP, and FSSC 22000; food laws and regulations: FSMA (21 CFR 117); Good Agricultural Practices (GAP); Safe Produce Rule; USDA FSIS; FDA (cGMP, 21 CFR, parts 110, 111, 210, 211, others); third party audit schemes: AIB International, SGS, Silliker, Primus and NSF.
