Independent Consultant, David Blomquist, will speak on “Rapid Testing Methods for Safety and Spoilage in the Dairy Industry – What Is Needed, What Works and What Does Not” on July 9, 2018, at the International Association of Food Protection Conference. Says Blomquist, “The dairy industry has been a leader in sanitation and hygiene for over a century. As food safety becomes more critical for all industries, methods to determine the quality of dairy products rapidly becomes more critical.” This session will focus on different technologies that have the potential to determine low levels of spoilage organisms in a variety of dairy products and will discuss the strengths and weakness of each.
