EAS Consulting Group’s independent consultant, Richard D’Aloisio, is a former Scientific and Regulatory professional with many years of experience in the food industry. Most recently Richard was the Scientific Affairs Principal for Mondelez International North America. In this role he had responsibility for managing and forecasting new, changing and emerging regulations; often advising the business on how relevant regulations could impact the business. As the Mondelez business covers a wide variety of food products from biscuits, cookies and crackers to gum and candy, his expertise cut across all product lines. Prior to his tenure at Mondelez International, Richard was the Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs for both the beverage division and then the confectionery division of Cadbury Schweppes and Cadbury Confections, respectively. He has presented at a number of programs such as at regional meetings of the NJ/NY IFT, Q1 Productions, and the Mexican Soft Drink Association. He is a Certified Food Technologist through IFT since 2012 and has held voluntary management or board positions in a number of trade and professional food organizations. In addition, he has developed training courses including being guest speaker at the UMASS Food Science and Policy program on GRAS food ingredients and has presented at the Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association on appropriate labeling of flavors for consumer goods. D’Aloisio has a B.S. with a major in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a MS in Human Medical Physiology from Fairleigh Dickinson University’s School of Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences.
