Almater

EAS has entered into an arrangement with Almater, an Italian food technology and consulting firm, to assist European companies wishing to export food products to the U.S. in compliance with the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP). And U.S. food firms can now contact EAS for Almater’s assistance in complying with European requirements. Almater offers food regulatory assistance through its LEXMA branch.

Food Label Compass

Food-Label-Compass-LogoEAS has partnered with FoodMinds LLC, a food and nutrition consulting and communications agency, and with Nutrition Impact LLC, a consulting firm that develops science-based messages about clients’ products and services, to create Food Label Compass.

Food Label Compass harnesses the expertise of all three partners to create a suite of nutrition analysis, regulatory consulting and strategic services to guide food and beverage companies in understanding the impact, complying, communicating and capitalizing on the new FDA guidelines. Food Label Compass will conduct in-depth analyses of the food and nutrient content of clients’ brands relative to the new FDA guidelines. It will identify the potential changes to the serving size rules (Reference Amounts Customarily Consumed (RACCs)), assess the impact of potential changes on Daily Values (DVs) and on nutrition claim criteria and more. Food Label Compass also develops a strategic roadmap for the client’s product portfolio and brand messaging to communicate to consumers and other audiences about the new nutrition information to ensure brands and foods are perceived and used in the way that is intended.

Mandala-International-LogoMandala Group

EAS has entered into a technical partnership with Mandala International (and its subsidiary Mandala North America, based in Atlanta) to help position EAS clients for product entry and distribution in the Brazilian and Mexican markets. Product registration for healthcare industries (medical devices, drugs, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, veterinary products, food supplements, sanitary products, etc.) can be cumbersome, with specific regulations for each country. U.S. companies wishing to sell products internationally will benefit from regulatory expertise in these complex and high risk environments. Through this partnership, EAS and Mandala will provide legal, commercial and technical support, including required regulatory documentation that will ease product entry to the marketplace.
