Christina Farnan is a highly regarded expert with over 25 years of senior management experience in food, dairy, poultry, infant formula manufacture and food chain safety management. Based in Ireland, she recently completed numerous training and guidance documents for the Irish Department of Agriculture (Dairy Division) on food facility design, utility and equipment food safety standards. Christina has 17 years’ experience in US FDA-regulated facilities, as site head of quality for infant formula manufacturing market leader or in a consultancy capacity in other facilities. With experience and expertise in pathogen control and best practice, she can complete site assessments and solve problems. Expertise includes auditing and development and implementation of food safety management systems, for example FSSC 22000, Chinese food safety management systems to meet Chinese food regulations, application of European Food Legislation, and USFDA food-related CFRs. Christina is also an FSPCA certified Tutor for Preventive Controls for Human Foods and Foreign Supplier Verification Program.
