EAS is scheduling 2-day “Implementing SQF 8.0 Systems” Workshop in locations around the U.S. this spring. These seminars will provide the most up-to-date and thorough analysis of the latest SQF code as well as the use of practical industry-tested models linked to practical methods for achieving compliance. These training programs provide a thorough start point for preparing for an SQF certification audit, assisting food safety personnel with understanding the “whys” of these requirements with which they must individually and collectively comply with to drive their plant’s food safety program and produce safe and wholesome foods.

The HACCP and SQF 8.0 courses in Logan Utah will be held at Utah State University, 750 North 1200 East, Logan UT. The classes will be held in the Nutrition and Food Sciences Building room 248A, in the southeast wing of the building.

The University Inn is a nice, reasonably priced hotel on campus, about a ten or fifteen-minute walk, or about a five‐minute drive from the Nutrition and Food Sciences Building. You can also go online to Google maps and type in “hotels in Logan UT” in the Google search maps box, that will bring up a good list of options for accommodations.
Parking permits will be provided when you arrive on the first morning. You can park in the parking lots on either side of the building, just NOT in the Aggie Ice Cream parking spots. There is a sandwich shop in the building where you can buy lunch and snacks, or if you want to bring a lunch from home there is a fridge and microwave available.

Dr. Moyers is an SQF Certified Consultant and Trainer, a Lead Trainer for FDA’s Preventive Controls and Foreign Supplier Programs, and a consultant, auditor, and trainer for Dietary Supplement cGMPs and HACCP systems.
Minimum Registration Policy
Should the minimum enrollment number for the seminar not be met, EAS has the right to cancel by April 12, 2017, and refund the registration fee in full.
Cancellations received before April 12, 2017, will result in a $95 processing fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after that date. Substitutions will be allowed as long as notice is given to EAS in advance.
